Loss Damage Waiver

Limits responsibility for eligible accidental damage to the rented vehicle, subject to the selected package deductible and all rental conditions.

Adds eligible tire and windshield damage protection where this benefit is marked as included.

Adds eligible accidental interior damage protection. Smoking, burns, stains, misuse and extreme cleaning may remain excluded.

Provides the contractual personal accident benefit described in the rental documents where included. It is not a substitute for personal travel or health insurance.

Limits responsibility for eligible theft or attempted theft, provided the renter supplies the keys and required official police documentation.

Important conditions that apply to every package
Protection is valid only when the rental agreement and local law are followed. A package does not remove responsibility for every type of loss.

An unauthorized or unlicensed driver was operating the vehicle.
The driver was under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any impairing substance.
The vehicle was used off-road, for racing, towing, prohibited transport or outside the permitted territory.
Damage resulted from deliberate action, gross negligence, reckless driving, wrong fuel or ignoring warning lights.
The renter failed to stop safely, notify AutoKing promptly or obtain the required police or accident report.
Traffic fines, tolls, parking, fuel difference, lost keys or documents, missing accessories, late return, cleaning and administration charges are not protection benefits.
Mechanical damage caused by misuse, clutch damage, underbody damage, roof damage and water damage remain excluded unless the written package terms explicitly state otherwise.

How package protection works

These packages are contractual damage-waiver and protection options provided with the rental. They may limit the amount charged for eligible incidents, but they are not a promise that every claim will be accepted and may not constitute a standalone insurance policy.

The package settings saved at the moment of booking, the signed rental agreement, the vehicle inspection record and official incident documents determine the final responsibility. When information conflicts, the signed rental agreement and mandatory law take priority.
